Alfresco's functionalities

Alfresco is a full Enterprise Content Management tool, offering all functionalities usually covered by much more expensive software’s, including Document Management, Collaboration, Record Management, Knowledge Management.

Alfresco is developed on Java and XML standards, well known by CEDITI. This competency allows CEDITI to easily adapt and integrate Alfresco in any kind of existing Software infrastructure.

As soon as Alfresco had a good version (August 2006 with the version 1.4), CEDITI started to invest in this promising product. Since this time CEDITI accumulates references in Alfresco. That’s why CEDITI is one of the more experienced Alfresco Integrators in all Europe.

Some examples of parameterizations CEDITI made for with some clients:

-       Electronic Management of physical mails: mails are scanned, ocerised, and then integrated with faxes and emails in Alfresco. Alfresco automatically proposes an answer to these mails, by reusing these mails’ metadata like author, date, references. Alfresco can also integrate bills including amounts, VAT numbers, … to push it in SAP.

-        Management of board of counsel for private companies or for Municipalities. In this case Alfresco is parameterized to allow different persons to collaborate on the same  day order in order to take decisions and to sign the Official Report through an electronic signature

-       Training of users and administrators of Alfresco. CEDITI also traines and coaches some Belgian IT companies when they have Alfresco projects.
